Meet Patric Esters
Your Guide to Calm, Clarity, and Connection
As a licensed psychotherapist with over a decade of experience working across cultures, I’ve seen how painful it is for expats to wait months—or even years—for the support they need. That’s why I created Calm Compass: to offer accessible, compassionate guidance to those navigating life abroad.
I’m trained in multiple evidence-based approaches, including CBT, EMDR, schema therapy, and psychodynamic therapy—and certified in Compassion Cultivation through Stanford University’s Compassion Institute. More importantly, I’ve walked this path myself.
Born in Germany and Spain, I’ve lived and worked in several countries. Now, I’m raising a bilingual daughter with my South American wife here in the Netherlands, where I’m a registered psychotherapist.
This course brings together the tools I’ve used to help hundreds of clients—and myself—move from overwhelm to resilience. It’s not about perfection. It’s about progress. And I’ll be with you every step of the way.
